The Customs House Museum was buzzing with excitement in August as the Imagination Library of Montgomery County hosted its annual Bee-Lieve in Literacy: Adult Spelling Bee Showdown.
The event brought together local leaders, businesses, and community members for an evening full of laughter, friendly competition, and support for a great cause.
The night kicked off with a reception and silent auction before contestants took the stage to test their spelling skills. Teams of adults competed for the coveted title of Ultimate Spellers of Montgomery County—and while the words got tricky, the energy stayed high.
We’re proud to share that Spring Creek Pediatric Dentistry’s team took first place! Our team, called “BEE-CUSPids,” had a blast spelling it out and supporting literacy in Montgomery County.
Beyond the fun and bragging rights, the event served a much bigger purpose. Proceeds go directly to the Imagination Library of Montgomery County, which provides free books each month to children from birth to age five. This incredible program helps foster a love of reading early in life and ensures children have access to the tools they need to grow and learn.
